Southern Image Quartet

Southern Image Quartet began as a ministry of a local church, serving as an enhancement to worship. However, it soon became apparent that God had other plans! The group began receiving requests to perform outside the local church. From that beginning over 15 years ago, Southern Image has been blessed immeasurably.
Certainly, there have been some trying times, but whenever a trial arose and it seemed Satan was at work, another door would open. Southern Image has experienced some personnel changes over the years, but God has always provided.
The group has been privileged to perform with such artists as Squire Parsons, Palmetto State Quartet, The Perrys, Tony Gore, The Hoppers, Brian Free and Assurance, Gold City, The Florida Boys, The Kingdom Heirs, Scripture Sound, The Anchormen, Dixie Echoes, The Dove Brothers, and New Ground.
They have made several radio and television appearances and have been an annual featured group at the Gospel Music Expo, June Jubilee, and Gospel Crossroads Supper Club. In 2022, Southern Image was honored with an invitation to sing at the National Quartet Convention.

Married to Juliette Long since June 1980. Raised five children in our home and have six grandchildren.

Singing and playing music, even with a little humor thrown in, has always been a very enjoyable gift from God that He has allowed in my life. Always felt like if we could stop for a few moments and put aside all our troubles and laugh a little while, it may not change a thing, but, it sure does seem to help.

Proverbs 17:22 (KJV)
“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”
